My personal experience: I tried this diet because we have pancreas problems in my family and because I often had hypoglycaemia (so I left well enough to be diabetic, too).
Result after less than three weeks ended hypoglycemia (already) but also more unexpected, more harm to frequent back with obligation to "unlock the morning" and many sciatica, and also ended the white tonsillitis repeatedly.
When I'm traveling and I remange "normally", after one week, I start to have ups and downs of energy and backache in the morning.
It will be a year in August, it's worth it, and I have not found that regime change was that hard.
