Superb media player steady, efficient and affordable

Finally a media player that works without incessant fiddling while being much cheaper than its direct competitors (Popcorn, Zappiti / Dune). Tested with the latest firmware (v3.xx), the setting is very simple, WiFi streaming works great (I credit the antenna for this performance), it recognizes without difficulty the 4 TB internal hard drive that I added to it ( WD Green) formatted in HFS + (Mac).

Hardware side: reasonable quality control (with backlight), as is the case. Installing the hard drive poses another problem to unscrew 6 screws. It is also the only complaint I addresses the reader: no rack for installation and quick removal of the disc.

On the software side: Impeccable. The reader is an exemplary stability. It works without problems with my DVD's collection saved (MKV, MPEG-2, SD, multi, multi-subtitles) as well as HD videos (MKV, H264, 720p, subtitles). Navigation through the menus of the device and, in videos, audios between tracks, subtitles or in navigation, is very fast. No crash to see. The device startup is not rapid (30 seconds). I have not tested the pockets system that does not require to go through the computer. This applies both to the files on the internal drive as those located on the hard disk of the Freebox (via WiFi).

In short, no anguish, 5/5.
