I myself am since about 12 years in the video production industry, have accordingly also certain requirements for image and of course to noise.
The Manufacturer's calibration is not bad, by using for example a Datacolor Spyder calibration tools can be again some gain in image quality.
Response time is absolutely fine, only hardcore Shoooter player they will be a little too low.
Respect. the here often mentioned in the reviews illumination problems and humming: In my copies none of these problems is even vaguely identifiable. This is revision A00, production July 2012. When keeps his ear directly to the device is a very faint humming sound (as with any device ...) perceptible, which however does not change if you modify the brightness of the monitor for example (see other review here on Amazon). The monitor is in this direction so fine. Unless of course you put him to the pillow. Once the ear is no longer directly on the device is that sound non-existent. The lighting is perfect - there are no significant halos, no color;)
The antireflection coating is superior, the viewing angle stability outstanding. Overall, I find described on prad.de the monitor as in the test.
Only in the case of the same color areas can be assumed from certain angles a sort striped pattern, but does not really matters unless you stares intently at full-screen white.
The rest of the device is already known to everyone: very good quality which ports and USB terms, good processing (especially with the inclination and height) as well as ergonomic buttons and a straightforward menu.
Why only 4 stars?
- Color calibration could be a bit better (but almost does not matter considering the price - 80 rather invest in a color meter!)
- The strange striped pattern (certainly a factor in PowerPoints or statistics)

The horizontal stripes described above took unfortunately in the period of about two weeks too. It makes sense to work with graphic or video software was so then, of course, unfortunately, no longer exists. The unit went back to Amazon.
