Personally I have used several vehicles (C5 2002 Fiesta 2002 Fiesta 2015) and I find it very convenient. GPS is closer to the driver for manipulations and it simplifies the use of GPS even in several vehicles. It is stable enough although depending on the shape of the dashboard it is not always easy to find a location. In summary the article is very clever but it depends advanced while the target vehicle.
