The case is the price. I would not put the digital camera in your pocket or entrust a child, the Canon can not be treated very gently. The housing is made of plastic and the rotary switch I move only very gently. Even series photos can not do so because they depending on light conditions up to 3 seconds needs until it is ready for the next photo.
Who likes to shoot films themselves should also choose a different camera. Indoors and at night the video is very rauschig. While you can zoom during filming, but the camera is not sharp. Audio recording is also on heat. During the day, I have not made any films, so can not comment on it.
All in all, however, outweigh the image quality and the price for me on all the disadvantages. I have even considered buying my camera as a substitute again.
