Surprisingly good performance but questionable quality electrical

For reasons of economy I have already tested some "cheap" LED lamps. There were always some problem. In general, the low-lights are very dim or the color just does not fit.
In this light, I was initially very skeptical, because the technical specification 600 lumens were given. In my own experiments from 1200 to 1500 lumens for a 120 cm aquarium Malawi have proven.
Nevertheless, I have tried this this lamp and was pleasantly surprised. The luminosity was perfectly adequate for my pelvis and also the color of light a perfect fit for Malawi. On my lamp packaging was also something like "65% more light output," without, however, to provide specific data. Possibly provides the light actually more than the specified 600 lumen.
For aquarium with plants in the basin, it could still be a little bit. But I can not judge.
The circuit with the blue LEDs may be little sense (who turns every night before the switch to moonlight in order), but that was not important to me.
The processing of the headband is very simple but functional. More you can not expect for the price really.
In my view, the price-performance ratio absolutely in the light. Therefore, full marks.

03/29/2015 Supplement for more than 2 years of service:
Unfortunately, the light is not particularly durable. After nine months, they were the first time on the mind. The power supply was broken. After replacement of the power supply was also the new immediately broken after it was connected to the lamp. Cause: The lamp was broken and destroyed the power supply. The lamp has been replaced and now after 15 Assembly later the same damage. The light began to flicker, then the power supply has given up the ghost with a bang and the fuse has flown. I was lucky that I had witnessed the live. If no one would have been at home, then the AQ would have been without electricity for a while here.
I still have the copy of this greater light. There since about 1.5 years, no problems. But here is another power supply here. Possibly is simply too small, the power supply for the lamp. The little light now thrown out. That's too much risk.
