Actually, I've assumed, without installing anything new, so copied the hard drive, yet the trial started, the Ram bars, Corsair Dominator 1600 MHz, 8 GB, pressed into the board and connect the hard drive.
Processor and fan it and rattle can, everything was excellent from the start, Win 7 has recognized all the driver CD installed by the board and the system is running.
Surprised but very pleased :-)
The board itself offers accessories nothing except a SATA cable, those who know the Crosshair, is aware of the diversity of the enclosed accessories. Logically, the price is also about much higher.
The BIOS has it done to me, clear and modern. The Ramriegel were recognized only as a 1333er, can be changed quickly, the processor via BIOS very easy to overclock. Absolutely great, I am running currently on 4.4 GHz stable and good enough for me.
The connections are given the quite low price and distributed easily accessible.
The switch from AMD processor to Intel under "normal" conditions, in fact totally unnecessary. In normal operation, you hardly notice the difference in speed. In FSX it looks a bit different, I've got a set piece, with frame rates 17-24 in AMD and now 21 to 33 FPS at Intel. The increase in performance is between 20 and 40%, depending on the application in FSX and is also related that the Ram modules are now naturally addressed at higher clock rates. The 1090 T has only supports up to 1333 MHz. The Autogen density I've moved a Tucken right, My Traffic increased from 30 to 60%.
The purchase has all along been worth considering my requirements, since a liquid FSX depends very much on the area about 20 FPS. Anything less is already hakelig.
Battlefield 2 and similar games, I'd be lying, I would note there is a distinct difference. Maximum starting seems to me a little faster expire.
On the negative side, that a second screen at the second output of the graphics card from the board is probably not supported. The BIOS is a dual can indeed adjust monitor, but the one must then depend on the outcome of the board and there should not take the main screen you, which in turn brings about a problem that first exactly this second screen assumed to be the main screen of Windows 7 becomes. The Board is therefore not the first choice for gamers who want to use multiple monitors (who knows something else, please indicate accordingly in the comments and explain Thank you!) The right on board connected display is powered by the processor and for my standards this is again a desired division of labor. Who would like to connect two or more of the graphics card ..... which is nothing.
For that, I give you a star deduction who it thus does not need, may see 5 stars for granted.
Conclusion: This board is the cheapest market segment highly recommended and more than just straightforward. Even someone who is not familiar with overclocking, a K processor can ratzfatz bring on 4.4 GHz or slightly above. Precisely that has brought me fun, the 1090 T has been able to never exceed the 3.8GHz threshold with me, then ran the system unstable.
Everything goes according to plan, who wants to use more than one screen, you should seek information and take other boards in the eye.
