To me that Windows RT is fully sufficient for the tablet. Graphics or elaborate things I am doing anyway on the laptop.
But to go to revise texts or to show a PowerPoint presentation, etc. - there is perfect. Windows 8 plays since its strengths to quickly going into the Internet or e-mail or to read news, or to browse Amazon to listen to music, images to show - that I use the Apps, the Office for the Affairs Desktop. The use of Windows 8 I personally find very intuitive - if you take the tablet for the first time in the hand, it is already very fast by trying to target.
I have the Tablet with the Filztastatur. There is no substitute for a real keyboard, but allows speedy yet writing with the 10-finger system and protects the surface. If you want to really write protocol with the tablet, should take the "right" keyboard.
The 32 GB - Version ranges far from perfect - but I am also not the app-collector. I do not think anyway that I have the 32GB and the remaining 16 GB (the rest is occupied by the system and the Office applications) in the lifetime of the tablets get trashed. The memory can also expand - but beware: The expansion memory can be used only for user data (ie music, documents, images) but not for program outsourcing!
The Price? 579 with keyboard were ok when you consider that you get a full-fledged office to do so.
What else is important: As with all other tablets also (Apple, Android) everything is easier if you have a Microsoft account.
