It's My 1st tablet PC. Have waited a long time since I "jerky" Bedienobeflächen previous devices in this price range could never really convince.
Short for technology: Thanks to a combination of MediaTek MT8125 quad-core CPU (1.2GHz) with dual-core PowerVR SGX544 GPU and 1GB RAM / 16GB internal flash has the part in my opinion for the schnuckelige Android operating system, as well as for normal surfing enough Performance Power ,
Unfortunately, there's also the occasional HD 7 Mikroruckler, but who consider themselves very limited. Maybe is still achieved with FW updates an improvement here - let's wait; am convinced of the performance's really can not be.
Delivery: Tablet, power supply 5.2V / 1.35A with USB port, USB cable + "User".
The housing itself looks to my mind in no way inferior, the weight (~ 300g) is i. O. case of slight diagonal twisting my unit creaks only very, very slightly. The design is OK, but the / the built-in rounding of the back cover (turn-on) button (above on the right) I find somewhat impractical to achieve.
The gray variant has on the rear housing shell thankfully no datscherempfindlichen glossy varnish, but a dull, dark gray (slightly metallic) and slightly "dull" feel surface - exactly my taste.
The battery has been partially charged; the initial start-up was very simple. The HD 7 has to be integrated into my wireless in the course of the guided configuration steps easily. The wireless reception performance is good, but could be a little more sensitive. The graphic "ASUS" keyboard works very well, with acoustic acknowledgment. The touch is precise; the image content follows your finger with very low latency and 95% liquid (Android interface, Google Chrome). After about 1 second autorotation of the display contents is performed, but can be disabled in the Home Screen.
The IPS panel is bright enough and me in the room easily readable. It shows a good contrast. The black level is also very good, but does not serve up OLED displays. The illumination uniformity of my screen is completely i. O., there are no disturbing Helligekeitsdifferenzen over the entire display area.
For outdoor use (under sunlight) is the display - rather borderline suitable - even without light lamination sheet.
My copy has no dead pixels and no noticeable color cast. The upper housing shell above the display is made of highly polished material (probably plastic glass) and therefore extremely vulnerable lubrication; Therefore, I have a slightly matt protective film attached. My choice was the FoliX FX antireflection protective film's HD 7 - have there created to own recession!
The sound is good for such a small "board" ... also subjectively felt loud enough!
The GPS receiver apparently works well ... at least the weather information for my part, will I see the home screen.
My unit came with Android 4.2.1 kernel 3.4.5; However, it was equal to a "Stability" -Update the DL appears: WW_user_4.2.2.91525_20130711 (25.04 MB). The installation took place without problems.
There remained, however, with Android 4.2.1 / 3.4.5 and a reduction relating to "micro-stuttering" I can not see.
As far as my experience report on about 5 hours of use.
That I forgive only 4 stars, although the product price / performance Moderately full 5 star deserves, is that the ASUS PSU has "patschend" given up the ghost after exactly 1 minute charging time. Time seh'n how evolved the ... :(
Ergänzugnsinfo:
Have me a 32GB micro SD Samsung indulged (Samsung microSDHC 32GB Class 10 memory card MB-MPBGCEU). Was reingesteckt directly from the package into the HD 7 and easily recognized. Should you however, specifically formatted for Android, please short answer info.
Thanks :)
