Tailor-made suit

The cover is very high quality and a perfect fit. The comparable reviews for this frameless cover positioned as unfavorable retaining clip between on / off switch and volume rocker I can not understand 100%. Between on / off switch and the bracket is still about 1 mm clearance. The ranges in order to actuate the switch without any problems and is in my opinion rather a kind of protection against accidental switching represents - for example during transport along with utensils in another pocket.
I personally prefer the frameless mounting on brackets over other solutions. The touch screen of the tablet is almost completely free because the six retaining clips survive only a few mm. Up to the upper left corner also the other three corners of the tablet on these brackets are protected. The Tablet budge really can after notching the bottom two corner brackets but easily pulled out of the remaining retaining clips are. Nothing is scratched or otherwise affected.

Due to the exact fit all ports, speaker holes or the back camera lens are free. For charging via the microUSB port, the Xperia Tablet Z can remain in the cover, it may then not be used, however obliquely. Reason is its location at the bottom, where protrudes when loading the plug, thus making the fixing of the tablet in the groove for the skew impossible.
Otherwise, the inclined use in two possible grooves / positions is stable and well suited by the predetermined angle ago.

A point worth mentioning would be the extra weight. My Xperia Tablet Z weighs 491g naked. With the cover together there are then already 797g, the extra weight is accordingly at 306g for the cover (even measured on kitchen scale).

I noticed is still the auto power off of the screen to reduce power consumption. Maybe that's also standard and works with all cover, but here on the Xperia Tablet Z immediately the screen off when you close the cover. Opened to the cover, the image is displayed immediately again.
Whether the tablet protects only the screen or completely goes into hibernation, I can not describe unfortunately. In the absence of instructions (is for a cover is not really necessary) all I can read anything.

I can only highly recommend this cover. The price is in comparison a bit expensive, but on the other hand I think is also the best quality.
