I buy this to use for homemade ice cream. Before, I'd been adding small packets of vanilla sugar to my main measure of granulated sugar. With this, I just use it right out of the container AND I get a much better-tasting result. You can see bits of vanilla bean in the sugar, and the taste permeates. It's great, and it's mobile.
