The meter itself is relatively unspectacular. With its subtle aluminum look, it is rather inconspicuous and that's a good thing.
The features include displaying the current line voltage in volts, the amperage, wattage, the power factor and the measurement of the cost of electricity (after entering the time and the price of electricity) and the total measurement time.
I'm not an electrician, my ultimate goal of a rapid and determining the standby consumption of all my electrical equipment in the home but then went smoothly and quickly. Only the already much criticized barely legible display tarnishes the joy of the device while reading it very much. What Brennenstuhl has been thinking? A clear shift knob, each having a display-filling display would have been here much more meaningful. Too bad!
The memory function can only be used if you subtract the protective foil in the battery compartment. This should be placed in the manual clearly expressed. In addition, the removal of the cover is controlled entirely unclear. As me somehow is then succeeded, I noticed only once every 3 button cells in all directions on the floor. After that it was no longer possible to house them even come close firmly back into the compartment.
Apparently the Contact Power not grab also true to me it's not been possible to detect memory values.
In sum, I think that Brennenstuhl has made here a really great product with probably a bit too big rigor worse than necessary.
The device itself should have been earned at least 5 Stars for its functionality and the PL ratio, but unfortunately I give each a star deduction for the far too small display and the bad battery and processing instructions. They have spoiled me the joy of PM 231 but significantly. Too bad!
