No problem with the connection and operating under Win7 / 64bit, completely plug and play-even with the included USB cable.
Get me but still a small tripod and a pop protection for the Samson down, to optimize the recording quality still.
The tripod in order to not always hold the Micro in the hand must (of course, should be as close to the mouth to record little to no background noise) the and the pop filter to further improve the sound quality (the built-in pop screen is okay though, but the closer Micro the mouth more susceptible to the infamous "P / S / Z"; there has no additional pop screen each microphone its limits).
