USB 3.0 should be actually through standardized.
I have repeatedly noticed etc. over the years but problems with USB 3.0 hubs, plates, sticks.
(For example limping transfer rates, recognition only as USB 2.0, disconnections / drop-outs, etc.)
This hub was detected directly from my Win 7 Ultimate after plugging.
I've connected a speedy SanDisk Extreme 64GB drive and a 32GB Poppstar Stick (both USB 3.0) and a WD My Book 4TB (including USB 3.0) and a USB 2.0 card reader of Hama.
All devices are detected without difficulty.
The transfer rates were moving on the physical limit of the respective devices and were apparently not limited by the stroke.
The file transfers between two devices connected to the hub performed flawlessly and without noticeable performance degradation.
Since the stroke with 7.5cm width 5cm depth, 2cm height and less than 200 grams of weight is also very compact, it can be easily taken along on trips.
As a passive hub, he is of course dependent on the power supply via the USB port of the source device.
But also no power supply is needed what I regard as a great advantage.
This hub is in my view therefore 100% recommended especially as it also does not even cost a tenner.
I was a little "biased" by the previous review, but despite intensive tests comprehend not mentioned there problems. Maybe it was a Monday model ...?
The only thing that bothers me a bit is the high-gloss plastic, which attracts fingerprints magically.
But that's a matter of taste, I guess.
From me so happy the full 5 stars for these very ordinary UGreen Hub.
I hope this review could assist you in your purchase decision ....
