Technically very good, battery could (should) be better

Verabreitungsqualität / feel / Steering: The P 500 is processed properly. I had the camera in several city trips and a vacation in SriLanka and Maldives with it and it shows up now garkeine wear. It is simply in the Nikon. In particular, the successful operation like it very much. The P 500 is very intuitive and can be of any operation (my parents and my brother proved it :-). Very handy, I find the swiveling and large display (especially if you've just not a person here that can make for a photograph).

Photo / Videoqualtität:
I'll start with the video quality: There is nothing to complain about. Full - HD, Stereo, Video (film) just push slowdown. It fits. The photo quality is also very good overall. Megazoom range, many adjustment possibilities, maybe you could find fault with at most some poor detail from ISO 400.

Other / Rating: Why is there from me only 4 stars when it was all very good so far. Very easily. The battery is too weak in my eyes. I have painfully experienced when I was traveling in Hamburg and I could do no more photos after half a day. This is much much better. My Samsung N 100 or the Nikon D5100 are unfortunately better by a mile!
Otherwise I missed that bit more special. So I would have liked even a built-in GPS for siting, as this camera is well suited as a robust holiday camera.
