Decided I was ultimately responsible for the Tenba. Tenba has with his messenger bag not only the widest range of possible colors, the equipment convincing given the moderate price.
Against my expectations, the equipment is, however, not only extensively but also surprisingly high. Tenba is OEM manufacturer for several major device manufacturers. The experiences that Tenba has obviously collected over many years in the production, they seem fully play out in this case.
The wide shoulder strap has an adjustable pad with anti-slip coating. Even if you do not wear the bag diagonally, the bag remains safe while running on the shoulder. National Geographic sold an inferior shoulder pad incidentally as a paid Accessories ...
The partitions can be put anywhere in the pocket. My Vaio Duo13 slips with its 33x22cm tailor-made in his pocket, a bigger notebook does not fit in the small Tenba but definitely.
It is found enough space for an evil-clippers with 4-5 lenses and a flash. Also with battery grip, the bag swallows a DSLR. However, then remains only space for a standard zoom, a bright tele medium focal length and a dedicated flash. My Zuiko 35-100 f2.0 is slightly larger than the 70-200 f2.8er of Canon or Nikon, but it fits even with 1.4 converter still well in the pocket.
In addition to the storage space for the camera with the lens, however, the bag no larger compartments for personal stuff.
The build quality is beyond doubt. The handle has a hose insert and can be kept exceptionally pleasant therefore. The loops on the sides can accommodate optional extra pockets. On the back of the bag is thickly padded, this is not found in all the bags of this design and price range.
The real, compelling and unusual gimmick is also engaged in the lid pocket. Without having the two locks open, you can take the camera directly by a zipper from his pocket. This works well in a rather small evil-clippers (Electronic Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens) as my EM-1 with a battery grip only reluctantly. Without battery grip of the intervention but works just fine.
The second feature is the magnificent broad Velcro fasteners on the front of the bag. Instead, like other manufacturers to bring pointless deep pockets at the front, making the bag uncomfortable wide, the Tenba bag has only a couple of flat pockets, take the best posts or documents. However, there attached Velcro straps secure the content excellent from falling out when you was so brain-free again, take the bag before you have secured the two closures. The lid holds already reliably if you just work it just back to the front over the hook and loop fasteners. I occasionally had the problem that I had not closed cleanly with my old backpack. The Tenba Messenger Mini is in this regard, however, foolproof ...
