Beautiful small, thoughtful camera. Relatively easy to use and with thoughtful features.
For the operation, however, a Micro-SD card is needed. The device has no internal memory!
The Full HD resolution would have to m. E. can give, because the "objective" this resolution negates. But that's just the Megapixelwahn! Even 720p recordings are still so noisy that this resolution also is already at the limit of usefulness. Nevertheless, it provides quite usable shots in enough light. For the price definitely OK!
The functions of the camera are well thought out:
- When motion detection is on, it takes on when front of the lens does what.
- 15 sec standstill and it will stop recording.
- If the recognition is made, it takes on once it is powered via mini-USB.
- Except when using a USB cable, a PC is connected. Then you can choose between WebCam mode and Disk mode.
- Has a photo mode.
- Can play back pictures.
- Sound may but need not be recorded. (Saves space!)
- 12 IR diodes for B / W night shots.
- G-Shock sensor, which was recently captured in the adjustable vibration Video 1. Writing 2. Protects and renames in SOSxxx.AVI. Thus, the recording is automatically protected against overwriting.
- Per single keystroke, you can write-protect the current recording or the camera light switching on / off.
- It has a built-in mini-battery, which is sufficient for:
- 30 minutes or monitoring
- 10 minutes recording or
- To show the accident opponent to be misconduct or
- To shoot from the damage after an accident a few pictures.
Power consumption in monitoring mode at full internal battery and screen (Settings -> "Screensaver" to 3 minutes to adjust.!) Measured on the 12 V socket (So adapter inclusive):
- Without IR light: about 100 mA
- With IR-camera light (for night shots): 250 mA
During recording of consumption is approximately 40 mA higher.
Leaving the display on ("Screensaver" to "off"), so it was about 20 mA more.
Ie. A car battery with 45 Ah would be after about 10 days of continuous monitoring half empty. If it is moved on a regular basis, there should be no problem.
