As the title suggests, thanks to sufficient advance notice is now everything is ok. The product is very convenient, but yet contains everything you need to operate a second hard drive in the Mac Mini. Importantly, as already described several times here that you will use this SATA controller only for HDDs (works but also for faster HDDs, have a Western Digital Scorpio Black 320GB 7200rpm installed, now it brings to 114/112 Write Read / what exactly the performance of this plate corresponds). 2. An SSD would not work with this special part! Because you would have to buy another, somewhat more expensive model. But if you used only 1 SSD and HDD 1, taking the original SATA controllers for the SSD, this one for the HDD and everything is fine. The SSD to build an on original place the HDD on additional. Have stuck to this video, though in English, but very clear and well kept IMO. [...] I have own tools and a normal wooden desk used as a backing and everything worked well. Tip: try too hard, if something does not equal succeeds short hands away, breathe, look at the point in the video again and it as still as possible to try again until it succeeds. It's not hard. One only needs patience and should not "violence" apply because the parts and cables are all very "delicate". If you heed this, the work is done relatively soon. Finally-still have no long-term testing experience with it until now funzt times but everything 1A.
