Commissioned for a Core Duo 8800 socket 775. But it is an HP tower and the original proc has a fan mounted screws. So not compatible with this T2 which is fixed with clips. I put two stars for the non compatibility but I think ca just my turn and so the manufacturer.
I have another turn in 1155 socket I will use it for this one.

So I come (04/05/15) to mount it on another socket. I still maintain my 2 stars. I do not like this kind of fixation on the motherboard, I trust too mas I prefer the screw. But hey at this price ... But what bothers me most is the noise .. Too noisy. I even want to turn on my pc ... I decided me to change the fan Noctua NF-by A9X14 PWM with PWM at that. I do not regret it. It make up the price of cooler, but this time it's silent.
