Who the usual, thin neoprene similar here, Soft Shell expects will be disappointed. It's pretty thin, pretty windproof and warm little! BUT: It is super breathable with the not waterproof members among the poor, go running and cycling's raining there but hardly out !! But one is not particularly wet from the inside (sweat) and a drizzle or "normal" rain stops it from all, also dries very quickly!
My constant companion through the autumn, when continuous rain you will be at the seams or entities referred course eventually get wet, but that is for me and also the difference to Softshell Hardshell which to dress in proper rain !!
Oh yes, I think the color super (like autumn leaves :-), but is perhaps a matter of taste!
