The 10 Finger course consists of 26 lessons, with some repetition lessons are interspersed. Per lesson one learns an average of two new characters to, so you will not be overwhelmed when learning.
Each lesson consists of three learning levels:
- Learning Stage 1: learn locations of buttons; Here is a lesson that is not rated. You get the new letter, which you should press, presents and just below displayed on a virtual keyboard, which key should you which finger press. Since the evaluation is missing, you have the possibility indefinitely and hassle free grope here on the new material.
- Learning Stage 2: Marquee and games;
The marquee is used to practice the new einzuübenden letters. Here there is a power control, ie it is counted how many mistakes you made or how long it has taken for the ten lines. At the end of the exercise, there is a detailed review and what has helped me in my assessment results: a smiley, laughing, depending on performance, looks neutral or sad. Also here the results are logged, which means you can look through, how much you have increased and looks usually concrete achievements (great for motivation;)).
There are also in every lesson games I have personally tried Although times, but I have not incorporated into my daily practice sessions. For me it was primarily about learning the ten-finger system and this is the shortest possible time, so I have not stopped me with the games. But for children the games are be great and motivation levels.
- Learning Stage 3: Test; Here you get a text from ten rows presented to you to type out (and as quickly as possible, time is running). The result you get only notified at the end of the test and not as in learning stage 2 after each line. This learning stage is great to control, but unfortunately the results are not recorded (they can, however, print).
I had been able to find on the search for a way as I could as fast, flexible and convenient to teach me the ten-finger system itself and am with the tip Queen. I've taken every day a new lesson in attack, but moved to the respective test lesson to the next day (that I had repeated the letters automatically again). Overall, I needed about four weeks until I could touch with all ten fingers and the. At a daily cost of approximately 15 to 20 minutes However, I have said as many repetitions built to consolidate what they have learned and who can do without it, is ready even faster. Super I find that I was very flexible in learning and next to my job could loose complete the course without being tied to specific times (as with a VHS course). And with nearly 14 euros, the program is really cheap and does the job perfectly.
I can do the queen hesitate to recommend anyone who wants to teach yourself the ten-finger system / need because the program is great and relatively cheap. Children and young people come certainly well with it.
One must remember, however, is: Learning always requires motivation, hard work and discipline (especially the autodidactic learning!). Without effort or continuous practice you can learn a new language, a musical instrument, and maybe not the ten-finger system. One has to take upon himself and who is not willing to work, it will not create no matter what tutorial. Therefore, we must in my opinion also not expect that such a tip program offers fun and entertainment (the games are a nice try), because that's not the whole point. And who is motivated, who creates the course loose on its own because it does not require a lot of motivation on the part of the program. I just wanted to say, because it was sometimes criticized that do little to motivate queen or doing too little fun.
Conclusion: A great program with great value for money, that definitely serves its purpose. Highly Recommended!
