Included on the CD are the two original LP's "The unbelieveable Guitar and Voice of Jerry Reed" from 1967 and "Nashville Underground" from 1968. All recordings were remastered and sound therefore very good. It can be heard no noise. Here really good job was done!
The pieces come from a few exceptions, all written by Jerry Reed.
The song highlights for me are "The Claw", his most famous instrumental number, "Guitar Man", which was also gecovert of Elvis, the ballad "A Thing Called Love" and the Ray Charles - cover "Hallelujah I love her so ".
Since the numbers with the exception of "The Claw" are all singing pieces, to Jerry's guitar usually limited to the accompaniment of their own singing. But even there shows his talent. A seemingly infinite number of licks brims so out of it. Jerry Reed had his own style and did not need anyone to copy. He himself was often copied and is still a role model for generations of young guitarists such as Brent Mason, Buster B. Jones, Tommy Emmanuel and Eric Johnson.
Fans kept country music should access definitely here. Also every guitarist should Jerry Reed times give his ear!
I wish for the future me more re-releases of old classics such!
