The small plastic and metal frame below the display glass (display plastic ?!) are then also the parts that this spare part from an original Apple differ touch display (!): Unsauberere processing as the holder of earphones electronics. I've got the electronics then promptly replaced by the original display, because it is processed clean and the display can be easily inserting afterwards.
The display itself with the "rubber frame" can also be used only with some delicate violence because not processed accurately and cleanly to the millimeter as the original. You can see that in the assembled state, for example, the fact that the glass sits a little higher than the surrounding metal frame. That's when the original panel, or a "new" 3GS course not.
Furthermore, the Home Button has a "spongy" pressure point - during the Original button clicks felt - and can also be much further push into the housing, so that one no "intuition" has when the button now triggers. Since the Home Button was the main reason for buying this panel is a bit of getting used to - but nothing can not be done in order to press a few times.
After all, I have now also a display glass without scratches that did not bother me on my original display. But it is also good - a protective sheath allergic as I pleased about "virginal" display glass.
So anyone who wants to save the trouble to separate the entire Fronglas of the touch unit when changing the glass or the Home button (heat gun, new adhesive etc.pp.), a bit of flair and a decent Philips PH00 screwdriver has is served just right with the touch panel , Open iPhone, remove the protective adhesive on the inside of the touch panel, remove LCD display from the old panel and insert it into the new iPhone assemble ... Done!
All in all a good replacement part for a feel for my fair price! Can so say otherwise.
I do not know what would have cost all at Apple - if I do not equal a new iPhone would want to turn. And that does not have to be, in an otherwise fully functional phone!
Best regards.
