This is my feeling and that of many gamers to the announcement of the device, overexposed to the detriment of big announcements that we were entitled to expect in the various lounges of gaming.
It is full of a priori that I get the device, my only experience with this type of gameplay boils down to purchase a Wii (lifetime 2 months before resale), its approximation and especially its countless shit except for titles developed by Nintendo.
First thing, the record is nonexistent. Just a vague happy A4 size sheet of peripheral facilities information (camera + move). We look, we said no there must be something ... Well no!
You plug the camera and ask, what is good.
You plug the move, it's good. The calibration will be done in games. However, you can also do so via the PS3 Accessories menu to use the move to navigate through your menus ... Not much interest as much as it is much less fluid than with a joystick.
It's a bit surprised by this quick install that I started the demo disk provided. The brief video located above explains the steps I have just explained to launch your move in short, dispensable.
Time to demos!
By the way, you must install on your PS3 demos, short once done you can sell off the Blu Ray in the trash.
At demos, good rubs worst. Everything depends on your taste at this level but it is a real advantage to test the games available to avoid getting fleeced for purchase.
The Move in itself!
Nevermind aesthetics, I let everyone do his opinion I personally love this principle luminous ball which gives a real high-tech listed on the accessory.
At the level of detail, we know from the Wii, this type of accessory offers different experiences depending on the game. Still, the Move actually offers excellent management depth, the inclination of the device. One can only be amazed by playing the demo of "Tumble" to see how the handle fully responds to your movements, no latency, in short we are close to perfection.
The weakness of the device rather come from the human behind! Indeed, it is far from a permissive controls Wii, here you have to correctly reproduce the movements of course some small differences are allowed but remains at a level much higher requirement than the competition.
In short all that to say that the PSMove me totally convinced, accuracy gives hope for great things when its possibilities. Now, as any accessory will be dependent on the developers who work on it.
For now I will tell you to wait, or you react to a sudden heart and take it directly or wait for the November / December for greater visibility on game ads for the device. Personally I expect a lot from a game Sorcery which unfortunately is not expected before the spring ...
Brief watch for my reviews, RE5 and Heavy Rain Move Edition Move Edition (I've done both in the "classic") for more information.
In summary: the device is excellent and promises great things, just waiting to see what will the games.
