The D3300 is in my opinion the best choice for DSLR beginners or those who can focus on the essentials. It combines great optical quality, which corresponds to the bigger brothers, what makes photography with pleasantly lightweight and manageable range of functions that allows everything anyway. The lens brings excellence and is in my opinion the better choice than the 18-105er. We have here a lot easier lens that covers the range panorama, group pictures, interiors and light macro images by the low minimum focusing distance and enough for a portrait. When later the very favorable Nikkor buys 35 mm as prime lens for low-light situations and the 55-300 zoom, you have to cover a nice, inexpensive and very easy Complete equipment for all situations without focal areas unnecessarily. As pocket then adjusts to good easy and relatively cheap Lowepro Event Messenger 150, the I keep everything.
