The best album of the 'big 3 late works "- the punk returns!

With "brain drain" phase began and found with Mondo Bizarro their completion: Off Slim mainstream 80s sound and towards or back to the basics, to the powerful punk rock.
At Mondo Bizarro reigns again the Punk, as he did in the 70s. But the grandiose opener "Censorshit" with his endless energy, his snappy text and the ingenious riffs he is for me one of the best Ramones songs ever.
This is followed by firecrackers, point 2: "Poison Heart". It reminds still quite a bit of the style of the 80's with this song (real songs with structure and organization verse-chorus, etc.), but he is better arranged and simply has a much better quality than other similar songs. Incidentally, was the theme song to Stephen King's sequel to Pet Sematary, and the only hit single of the album.
The next good track is "Take It As It Comes". Peppered with a few sound effects and a melancholy melody and Joey's soulful vocals he combines skillfully blends punk rock with alternative rock. A great bass solo there at that.
The last richige About track is "Main Man". This song has it all, what is required of the Ramones: Catchy riffs, good text, enough speed, great vocals from bassist CJ Ramone and new ne tremendous amount oomph.
The rest of the songs are not bad. There are at Mondo Bizarro virtually no failures!
Also noteworthy was the excellent sound quality of the CD. For 1992, the CD sounds incredibly powerful, loud and strong in the bass range. Well done to the mastering team! In the booklet are some (not all!) Printed lyrics, the Thank You's and beautiful images of the band.
After Mondo Bizarro followed "Acid Eaters" ('93) and "Adios Amigos" ('95) as a final hammer albums on such a high level, sonically and musically.
