That's my second AKU hiking boot. The first pair has done six years of loyal service and and brought me down reliably high 67 summit. Even with rubble, frozen roots, smooth stones, climbing - everything is perfectly accessible with this hiking boot in the high alpine area. The grip of the sole is exceptionally good, the profile and really very comfortable seat is distinguished from the AKU. After the great stress now has after many wet "experience" (by streams and in the rain run) something the bonded rubber tip on the side solved. The tread pattern would let me climb a dozen mountains. If it were possible, I would give it 10 stars.
