I use it as an audio switching: tele / decoder cable / mediacenter pc to my stereo.
No interference or unwanted distortion. Cheap and unobtrusive. This allows the whole family to enjoy the sound of the string while watching TV on cable or playing on the xbox or watching a video on a PC running ubuntu (bridge with Internet) and this with optimum sound quality without touching the connections.
