Leading the way: The touch screen of the display problems are not understandable for me.
Had a few days to compare an iPad Mini. The only why I decided against the iPad Mini is that it is indeed an inch taller and Tablet Apps by Apple are more definitely - but that is limited only to the optical representation, such as the mirror subscription app that one has a 2 columns view of the magazine and the page turning is more beautiful than the Android app is animated, but that was about it.
Ultimately you can do with two tablets the same. This Same apps, this same Games. FaceTime is to Google Hangouts. ICloud is Google+.
The Nexus has a better or equal good display. You have to convert any movie files no cumbersome to copy to your tablet and you need to synchronize this stupid and annoying Itunes not know what made me extremely annoyed even with my Iphone 4.
Furthermore, Google Music is free. ITunes Match costs 30 euros per year, etc., etc. And one could continue the list. Android flat. In addition, you still have NFC and Android Beam. A fine thing.
Furthermore, you do not have to constantly wait as Apple on the jailbreak, if you want to adjust the boring, static surface. In Android you rootet the device and simply plays a custom ROM (if necessary Custom Kernel) on. I use currently the CyanogenMod 10.2 (based on Android 4.3) Final Version and am extremely satisfied.
The cost of the iPad Mini in the 32GB variant are twice as high as for the Nexus 7. And this is definitely not justified in my opinion, in spite of better handling.
In short, the Nexus 7 32GB 2013 certainly the best tablet, which is currently available for this price in the 7 and 8-inch range. By this I mean both the display and the perfomance of the CPU and graphics unit. The processing of the materials used very well. No gaps etc. No buttons to jiggle or other defects. Top processing. But wait no aluminum casing, as the iPad Mini. What for? For twice the price? Just the possibility of modifying the surface is already alone a reason for me not to switch to Apple.
Was previously skeptical. Have been but very pleasantly surprised by the Nexus 7.
Worth it for this price!
PS Just to clear one to ask: If my cost would not matter, I would still opt for a Nexus 7, because I just think it's Android system in its entirety as clearly innovative and better than IOS. Have Iphone, MacBook Pro even in the house. Time except the laptop is the better system for tablets and phones Android. My Opinion. And the Apple TV is probably even really a joke. Since I install rather, if the computer must be running already PLEX - as I have for movies a much better basis - and here too, the films must not again be umkonvertiert ... OK. Gibts for IOS. But I certainly do not need no Apple TV and for music.
