The better Wu-Tang Album 2014

With his new album Ghostface Killah manages basically the same as what was once to "Supreme Clientele" rumored to him: He saves the Wu-Tang Clan. Then as now, the collective lay on the ground, and again it's Dennis Coles, to judge things. Time are the releases of "36 Seasons" and Wu-Tang's "A Better Tomorrow" strangely close, as if they wanted to conjure up the comparison outright, but even so it makes sense.

Because the musical approach is similar and is especially: Live. Ghostface has, however, had the better nose with the Revelations, because the soul band gives him a more homogeneous and with more powerful backing. The particularly strong for Ghostface albums Soul influences sound also here again, especially in the first half of the album, there are sweet productions with matching vocals. Pleasant numbers that are good in the ear, but the majority remains action emphasized and there already supplies the opener "The Battlefield" with his bass guitar the first blustering prime example. Ghost and his backing band did each well to dispense with experiments, but to the to remember what you can and what makes sense. Also on Rapebene nobody gives the nakedness, not the legendary "Ironman", nor his friends. Because they are handpicked with Kool G. Rap, among other things, AZ and Pharoahe Monch.

As a whole there is not much to say. Once again showed that he can do the better Wu-Tang album and has the effect emancipated also the origin collective Ghostface Killah.
