At first all is well. The case is lightweight, is very firm, and automatically wakes my Kindle 8.9 HDX. But after some time things go wrong. The freeze shelf, not clickable, even impossible to extinguish. Must be removed for the case to regain control. May work for you if you do not use your Kindle over 1 / 2h in a row!
