Make no mistake: The Authority, it is not a super hero group like the others. Where Superman did not even slap the villain who has just killed his mother before his eyes, the Midnighter is armed with his best jackhammer / dildo to make him regret being born. Captain America where a sermon at a young bank robber, Apollo put it a correction that enleverra him any bad ideas (if indeed this evil can still walk or talk). The Authority is a superhero group that is tired. First endorsed by governments that they will eventually impose their law, these superhuman beings are endowed with great powers, which cause great responsabilities. Which for them means to fight fire with fire. We no longer talk with drug traffickers, dictators or corrupt politicians: we simply put them out of harm's way ... final. Here, no one is immune from the judgment of the people, not themselves the protagonists. Gives it to changed in this fabulous series written and drawn by men of talent. It's violent, it's beautiful.
