Caveat: a star deduction, because you will be ripped off again just as European buyers times. In the US the cost Panosaurus 2.0 ~ $ 73, which are just over 50 at present. The German price is considering the quality and the significantly higher prices of other producers in order, but ...
For panoramic head itself, I can only report positive. I do not understand the reviews that complain that a battery grip not tuned fit. Another review has indeed mentioned a little workaround, how to do it yet. But honestly: A battery grip annoys me personally and I need more than one, if I shoot sports or over an entire day a wedding. For panoramas anyway, he is not, and even counterproductive, because I should always try for a panoramic head / tripod head, reduce weight! That counts for me at least not as a negative point.
The Panosaurus is stable and can be adjusted precisely to the nodal point. A latching of the rotary plate I do not miss, because a large marker indicating the degrees and I only need 90 ° increments with my fisheye.
Contrary to own statement by the manufacturer on their website, the Panosaurus 2.0 is suitable for fisheye lenses on small picture format. I use the Samyang / Walimex 8mm / 3.5 on a D700 and had no trouble stitching in PTGui. A small part of the panorama head is right below the image circle and of course the tripod plate. With an additional Nadir photo can the but wegstitchen residue. And even the expensive Novoflex Slant is a part of the panoramic head in the image circle.
I have directed the camera a few degrees up to avoid a Zenit photo. A spherical panorama can I create with four photos and when I want it perfect, is a fifth Photo by Nadir to and the ball is perfect (on small picture format) or do I add at this point my logo with Hotspot link to my site.
Since I'm going to use the adapter only with a lens, the functionality is fine.
