Positives:
The dark blue dial is really beautiful and the comfort with the blue bracelet quite high. The processing is to be criticized at a good level and hardly Citizen. The deviation is with me around +3 seconds per day - still acceptable for me. The bezel rotates only one side to the left and is locked accordingly right to prevent unwanted changes of the dive time underwater. On the bracelet are the ND Limits (No Decompression Limits) printed - the font is small and probably experienced divers dive anyway in addition with a dive computer, so that these tables should only be a last Notnagel. For divers very pleasant: the crown is located on the 8-clock position, thus preventing a painful squeeze the carrier hand. How well done expected - as the screw-down case. Everything seems all of a piece and is processed harmoniously and harmonious.
Negatives:
The caliber 8203 by Citizen Miyota is similar to the ETA-2824 a "tank". It runs and runs and runs and is expected to last for the life of the wearer loosely with good maintenance. BUT: Unfortunately the clock did not stop seconds. A true synchronization with a time signal or a radio clock fails, and to set the clock up only one on the current minute. Sorry - this is impossible. As Automatikfan I have no problems with gait deviations - even very expensive watches with appropriate works of renowned manufacturers have transition deviations. Nevertheless, I have now and then want to synchronize time with a time signal and not take the points already x-seconds passage loss in purchasing my clock. Only at low power transition (ie a relatively relaxed spring) is used to stop the seconds by gently turning back the minute (which needs to be practiced). If the clock is fully wound, the second can not be stopped in this way. Also negatively: This clock is a mass product and should be (considering the application) fitted with a sapphire crystal. Here you are dealing with a hardened mineral crystal. Very unfortunate.
Conclusion: the clock is a bit like a "Mixed Bag". Good housing processing, reliable work without stop seconds, tailored to the needs of divers at a moderate price and good comfort.
Due to the lack seconds stops and the lack of sapphire glass, I prefer from a star - for a good diver's watch that is easy both a must and should be feasible in mass production for major manufacturers like Citizen.
