As a substitute I ordered the Easypix Splash camera and was surprised by the good processing.
The battery door is a bit fiddly and difficult to open, but this is not to be assessed for a waterproof camera as negative. Finally, the rubber seal is fixed to the camera body rest to prevent water ingress.
As described, the batteries were included and the camera was able to insert these and a micro SD card (not included) tested immediately.
After switching on, it takes about 4-5 seconds until the camera is ready for operation and the shutter lag is another second.
So, to make a 'quick' snapshot it is less suitable.
The charging time of the flash is acceptable with a few seconds. A manual slider is located on the side to adjust the focus of macro to infinity.
The first, made during the dry run, photographs were (sufficient) sharp and contrasty.
Camera can not be compared with the current non-watertight and provided with an anti-shake unit precisely.
The menu navigation / operation is a bit strange and not very intuitive goes, after a certain time but slightly out of hand.
Since the camera is immediately after activation in shooting mode and our daughter can losknipsen that is less tragic.
The full charge indicator of the battery has not changed after about 50 shots (some with flash).
The water tightness I've tested so far only in the sink in order to claim the device possibly can.
The case, however, seemed close and the camera can make their underwater quality on your next holiday to the test.
Review:
+ Good workmanship
+ Water / dustproof
+ Long battery life
+ For the price range good picture quality
o Long switch / shutter lag
o Operation / menu navigation unintuitive
- Product / data not present on the Amazon page
Conclusion:
The tightness of the camera has its price and can not be compared with normal cameras the price range.
For one of the best devices in this category, you get a good device that the children can use on the beach and in the water.
