The DAB P 100 is designed chic, with a remarkably good display - illuminated, easy to read, rather than pixel segment display, with radio text. The Digital Radio part is receiving strong and nimble. CD player, FM radio and USB interface work well. The unit is remarkably compact, with a sophisticated and high quality.
The predecessor Dual DAB 43 we also tried. It is still a bit cheaper, and even provides an interface for SD memory cards. Nevertheless, we decided against it, primarily because it does not sound as good. Not just bad, just significantly thinner than the DAB P 100. And when a CD you want then even more a real wall of sound instead of just one Klangmauspad.
Criticism I have: The DAB P 100 has a proper power switch. Moment, that's not criticism. However Dual hid the on-off switch and the volume control on the left side of the radio, and that is unfortunately quite used to.
Conclusion: Recommended and versatile device with a good price-performance ratio.
