Synology's brand renowned for NAS servers. This model is no exception to the rule: the quality is at the rendezvous, the possibilities are very important parameters, all within an accessible interface from the very fluid and ergonomic browser.

The two windows allow to put two hard drives in RAID for data redundancy, very reliable.

The embedded processor is not a warrior but he is more than enough for home use with 3/4 connected users.

Installation and handling is very easy. Then you still have to go through the instructions for setting up each function (backup, web server, iTunes music server ...).

I recommend this NAS, not disappointed at all.
