I'll start with the positives:
- Neat design: from that side, nothing to say. The whole looks solid, the the button are or we would find them. The suction cup is "interesting", it is not a simple but a sucker + bonding material a suction system so it want safe, VERY strong.
- Full packaging: the extension cable to the cable-adhesive passes for not having cables lying around on the dashboard, nothing to say, it is quite complete
- Wireless charging: I have not had the opportunity to test the load on long journeys with the GPS, but it's nice to just have to put the phone to load
- NFC: Once the phone recognize the accessory, it automatically launches the Nokia car application, not stupid !!!
The Bad:
- The length of the arm: then the bad surprise. the attachment arm is really short, and as my windshield is steeply raked, I have to tilt the phone down with an angle parallel to the windshield which does not allow to use this one ... So not for me to fix the bracket on the windshield, only on the dashboard. And I invite prospective buyers to think about what "DETAIL" before you buy.
- NFC: what is beautiful is good, but the problem is that the Lumia 1520, NFC sensor is on the top of the phone, and on the support, on the bottom of it. .. so yes the phone recognize the accessory but I must first close my phone upside support for it captures the NFC, and then insert it in the holder. I would have thought that Nokia would have seen it RETAIL but apparently not ...
- Size: technically speaking, and according to the product description and the Nokia website, the phone goes in the bracket, the legs spread apart to the maximum, and forcing a bit much, so it goes, but forget the phone, because the hulls the is the millimeter too so for those who have a Nokia folio case (type CP623 Red in my case), do not be surprised to have to disassemble your shell you insert your phone into the cradle and when jentends insert, understand "force" your phone.
- Pass the cable: it's going to be picky, but the cable-pass almost not stick, I have them all set and the first shock, they are all detached. Wholesale Useless.
I think I've been around, I think that indeed and after reading reviews of other buyers for a smaller phone it has to be perfect, but if you have a Lumia 1520 or 1320, I unfortunately discourage you, because for now, it is not suited to this type of larger than average phones.
