The device is very cleverly designed: the fully automatic mode or pre-programmed reassure neophytes, but it also allows real expert settings. Especially, it includes a guide that allows you to easily initiate the photo: tips are displayed on the screen. Convenient!
It is widely customizable, actually missing only few functions to make it a true expert system (and even an expert will be happy to use it). And it delivers excellent photo quality almost comparable to D7000.
Small problem: the goal comes with the 18-55, is right in the center but very soft (blurry) on the sides at a wide angle. It allows for the proxi-photography, with a minimum focus of 18 cm: very useful for photographing flowers or details. You can do better. The 55-200 offered in other kits is exceeded, it is better to complete the 55-300 VR, high quality (recommended by image hunters, ie).
In short, perfect to discover the world of reflex and very highly recommended!
