For years I have photographed with professional cameras ala Minolta 9000, Canon EOS 60, Nikon F3 and was looking for a small, lightweight camera one for my motorcycle tours. With the SX50 I get more than expected, because of the incredible optical zoom range I used 3 lenses used, which have weighed even more on its own than the entire SX50. The light intensity is for such a compact device perfectly fine. Only in very light difusem an acceptable noise is observed. The video quality is impressive. The very fast autofocus is ideal for snapshots. All in all, an ideal travel camera, especially if you're like me traveling by motorcycle and has little space.
