A camera 800 or 1600 and low light still makes good pictures even at ISO?
A camera in which you then leave 3 drags extra lenses and then everything usually does not drive, is Weil's too heavy and unwieldy?

Joking aside - I myself Scan inter alia with a D-SLR and have let's say a little direct comparison ...
Due to the maximum design Nachtele the "fat" I use but also repeatedly, depending on the purpose compact cameras and'm now 10 landed in the TZ.
I'll make it short:
This thing is great fun!
(And I mean it, because only with a camera, which can take into their own hands often and like to be on time to make good photos)
The picture quality is in ISO 80, 100 and 200 for normal printing (print / photo book) simply great, even ISO 400 is usually still usable.
The video function is not only an accessory but well done with reasonable focus tracking when zooming.
(This is not necessarily self-evident and already quite important!)
The Manual Exposure / Aperture-priority AE is well implemented and in practice easy to operate.
Due to the "Oversized" sensor actually available in all image formats (3: 2, 4: 3 and 16: 9) always real 25mm wide-angle is available, so it can not simply be omitted pixel to the respective format to generate.
Good lens with decent image quality and very low distortion in WW and telephoto range.

Very quality workmanship, in brown almost classical.
So if you are looking for a compact Super Zoomer, which is 10 highly recommended the TZ.
And as on the edge:
A bridge camera can all usually no better and yet again too large and unwieldy. Either it fits in your pocket or SLR.
Therefore, full marks for the TZ 10 cameras all the better are much more expensive and bigger.
