FIRST IMPRESSION:
Huch is that small! The computer is indeed max. 1/3 the size of conventional housing. Supplied with a simple mouse and keyboard, which are connected via the USB cable and the power adapter. The front of the computer is made of high gloss varnish. What looks very high at first glance, but is also prone to dust and fingerprints. After 2 days, the front is covered with dust, safe for Putzteufel no positive aspect. ;-)
CONNECTIONS:
The computer has at the front via 2 USB3 ports, microphone and headphone jacks and a slot for SD cards.
The side-opening CD-ROM drive is at first a bit strange, but then can be used without any problem.
On the back, a VGA and HDMI port are for the monitor and even the really outdated circular connectors for mouse and keyboard are available. Ethernet (LAN connection) and 4 additional USB ports provide a sufficient number of connectivity options.
The Aspire XC-215 is equipped with an AMD A4-6210 APU (1.8 Ghz) processor. In the comparative tables of the trade magazine Chip, this processor is no longer out of the top 100. That is, however, only that he no longer meets the demands of modern gaming world justice. This also points out that the graphics chip is used onboard. The hard drive is more than adequate with 1 TB. The main memory with 4 GB is relatively small, but sufficient for the activities described above. If you still want to edit large images or videos, is on the board a free slot for additional memory.
The included software McAfee and Windows 8.1 represent approximately 25% of the purchase price, so you can designate matched as well and the price-performance ratio of the technical components.
MY CONCLUSION:
For the almost unbeatable price you get a computer, which is more than enough for small offices, clubs or home office and to the monitor includes everything to get started immediately.
