ALPS LNBs are distinguished not only by their uniform signal performance, keep it simple and eternal. Just when you build a plant on hard to reach places you would not want every 2 or 5 years Replace the LNB. And that's not necessary with ALPS, the parts last forever.
My oldest ALPS LNB (Digital compatible) has been replaced after about 13 years. But not because it had a defect, the system has only been extended.
My tip:
Have peace DC buy the right LNB and just heavenly!
