The original remains unsurpassed - unfortunately ;-)

After purchasing the Canon EOS 60D BG-I bought a replica (brand "Pixel") incl. 2 no-name batteries for about 84 euros.
The batteries do operation today. Not quite as powerful as the original (LP-E6), but for the price perfectly fine. When BG replica but showed now (after 10 months) first problems:
- The rubber began in some places easy to solve (not at all times to the attack weak margins, but rather to the "central places"
- On / Off switch with partly loose connection, or on-position was not always recognized and set to "On" was the body no longer has the ISO can be changed, for example -> Restart EOS required
- The white lettering above the three buttons on BG "disappeared" after just a few weeks
- And above all, the L-bracket by Kirk does not fit 100%, but sitting at replica wrong - therefore not really useful,
especially not with panoramic shots

Now for the original (BG-E9):
- Rubber of high quality, corresponds to the EOS 60D in appearance (rubber) and feel
- No loose connection problems
- The 1-battery-use is from the camera "accepted" (like the replica) - important for me, because the use of
Two batteries seems to me too hard or too unbalanced
- The white lettering above the three buttons lasts and lasts - as in Body
- Absolute fit with the original Kirk L-bracket for the EOS 60D with BG

CONCLUSION:
- Rather just buy the original!
- Technical / mechanical and haptic superior to the replicas probably
- No accessories problems (L-angle, replica batteries) / fit
- Value for money, despite the approximately double the price (and no extra batteries)
- And the general wisdom in the end: Who dime, buy twice (as I did).

In this sense: The BG-E9 rocks and is a fine thing that (unfortunately) comes at a price.
