I have a HP 6500A Plus Pfficejet and my printer has now arrived in 9765 printed pages. The printhead printed fading fast and clean all measures such as printer cleaning or intensive nothing helped. The instruction on how printhead diving several hours in distilled water and then clean manually have all brought nothing. The print quality was getting worse and small print could not be read. In a new price of 190 I've been thinking a long time whether I should now buy a new printhead for about 50 euros. Ultimately, then I am on the venture admitted to invest the money. But, I have to say the money was worth it, the printer prints now as sharp as initially again. I have before and a test sheet printed by the printing head exchange - between before and after are worlds of print quality!
