What the cap is carried out despite the thin material fabulously.
It is breathable enough that you do not get a heat accumulation at the beginning of the cooler phase during exertion. Keeps the rain off quite a long and warm head long in winter.
However, the helmet plays its air permeability, especially a big role.
At Casco Ares the GORE-cap was sufficient to just below zero, the Uvex before and during POC currently against the wind is very chilly even at approximately between 1-3 degrees above the forehead.
Nevertheless, it warms at least as good as the thicker robocab of Assos and covers the same forehead and ears better.
Fashionable seen it, of course "unsustainable" as far too great a bathing cap. Since it is very thin, it can be very small crumple into a coat pocket, making it a perfect emergency cap on the go in the winter. Or to put on extremely cold days under a normal cap to increase the temperature range.
With all due praise, unfortunately, a rebuke. If regularly worn under the helmet, you realize at the end of the season but that it was much thinner at the rubbing points and the threads on the seam it start to loosen. This is the flip side of the thin material.
Conclusion. Although it is not a panacea, but not far from it.
