For color:
The Golden version looks very classy (it is more white gold than gold - see comparison image with the Golden Samsung S5). I initially had concerns with the golden color that she would ausssehen lifted or so - but it looks like I said very pleasant. I have looked at all 4 colors in the corresponding technology Laden - also the red is very nice to look at, the blue looks good but is very fingertapsenanfällig and the White simply not my cup of tea.
For processing:
Despite the plastic housing the device makes a very sophisticated look. It looks completely chic, super flat and super easy (my scale says 962g). The keyboard uses the full width of optimal, has a pleasant pressure point and is in my opinion betippen well. The touchpad is great: super large, reliable responded so far, and with me all the 1-3 Finger Yesterday function reliably.
to the connections:
On the left side of the connectors are for the charger (which is not the way larger than a cell phone charger the older generations and a pleasant long cable length with "wrapping tape" has) further back towards the screen back and forward through the slot for micro SD card, the mini-HDMI port and audio in / out. On the right side are then the front side by side the two USB 2.0 sockets. I tested all the connections to the mini-HDMI (because I still lack the appropriate adapter), and they all make a good impression: everything is secure and nothing wobbles. The Mini-SD card (in my case a 64GB SanDisk microSDCX) closes in inserted state precisely with the device, and is well out again with short fingernails. An SD card of the speed as I now have (up to 48MB / s), however, is probably not necessary because the built-in reader seems to be not the fastest.
For technical bells and whistles:
One has to be aware of when buying that this is a fairly simple device with 2GB Ram and only 32GB of hard disk space is not much to be expected. Updates etc. run correspondingly slowly. After placing the device including update Download and install the gewünschen basic equipment (in my case: office suite, VLC, FastStone, Thunderbird, Firefox) about 8GB disk space remain free for me and uninstalling / activation unwanted pre-installed components. Many programs can also be installed on the SD card, because then just takes a little longer to access. But he does everything I ask of him quite fluid. The battery life seems first correctly specified, but for that I can only after a longer testing say more.
Conclusion:
This device meets my requirements, except for the small to disk space, completely. It is very quickly ready to work (from going to sleep immediately when booting in about 30 seconds) and do what I've asked of him reliable. I'll take it in the coming weeks times in the endurance test, then I can, above all, to make better battery statements.
