1. The tent has an unmatched price-performance ratio

After these main criteria I was looking for a tent for my motorcycle tours! Well, there are lighter, more durable perhaps tents for 299 or 499 euros, but these tents go after a few months UV rays break or rot eventually, if you have time to forget to ventilate properly after a downpour and dry. Then maybe a tent that offers all the comforts for a lot less money!
+++ Unpacking and packing:
The tent comes in a beautiful black carrying bag, inside there are 3 polyester bags: the pegs and strings, the linkage and the two tents. The supporting rod is made of fiberglass and a replacement rod is delivered for repair, great! The herring are somewhat useful, but Amazon is available for 5,99 much more stable herrings that should be purchased at this tent! On trips I take 50-50 herring with: the stable, to tighten the cords firmly, the weaker for small eyelets or for a whopping meadow without stones.
Very important is the packing: everything fits perfectly back in the bag 3 and this again is relatively easy in the carrying case. So here also no stress with the morning Into plugs!
+++ Installation
The building is actually 3 minutes for a quiet night expected to wind or rain, it takes twice as much time in order to tighten the tent safely. The inner tent is set up with the boom in less than a minute, the fortifications of the fly and the porch take a little longer. The structure is really selbsterklärend- there is a description, but no one needs!
+++ Secure
As I said, I recommend to buy 10 tent pegs stable to build around it wind and waterproof can. In addition, I strongly recommend 4 guy lines (there are ready at VAUDE for example, or even here for 5 euros) to buy, because the two supplied linen are not sufficient! The Originalleinen I verspanne rear, two more I tick side vents at the one and the other two on the front porch.
+++ Living in tents
The tent smell the first few days after something factory, I would therefore recommend it time trial basis to build on the terrace and to ventilate two days! After that however, it is only beautiful in its desert colors, can be easily implemented when needed (when stones are at the bottom) and be re-tensioned. The groundsheet is tight, I would, however, including lay in stony substrates another plane, to avoid damaging the canvas. I have not done it, yet there were no problems!
All the material (tents, underbody) makes a somewhat fragile impression, but keeps all charges from easy! +++ Practice
I was traveling with that tent with motorbike for 4 weeks through Morocco all the way down in the Western Sahara. Snowstorm in the high Atlas and night in the middle of a forest road, 3 days of continuous rain in the Anti Atlas and 3 weeks tough, hot desert sun with sand storms. Since so pretty much everything was in it. What can I say? The tent inspired me: not a drop of water in the interior, little moisture on the inner tent, the little sand storm in a tent, it also held strong gusts was loose! My two panniers were well housed inside, the discrete color protected me on my wild places in the desert in front of too many uninvited guests and animals came none. The tent is a universal tent to use anywhere and, as I said, if need be in threes. Couple it is very comfortable with plenty of space for luggage. Small pack size, average weight = ideal for motorcycle and car!
With mosquitoes I had no experience in this tent, so can not comment on it. Yet the mosquito nets seem to be tight, wonders if the yellow color attracts more mosquitoes?
With severe storms, I also had no experience, but in general I would choose for very windy areas a lower tent than this one. There are just compromises you have to make.

This tent can I for 2 people highly recommend! Cheap, beautiful, dense, stable, easy to pack, not too heavy - what more could you want ???
