First lens I bought the Sigma 18-250 OS, which I sent back. The reason were all extremely blurred and muddy images at maximum aperture. Only from panel 8 or 10 images were useful. So back in order and a Tamron 18-270mm VC ordered (old version with 72mm filter diameter)
From this lens, I was initially excited! VC works very well, autofocus quickly enough, but for all images at 18mm wide angle, the focus was always sitting beside it. Images were something of blurred and useless precisely. So this lens is also back!
Now I own the 3rd and Hoff finally last lens. The Tamron 18-270mm VC PZD!
And what there to say about it? I am excited about that part!
to 1: All photos of 18-270mm focal length at maximum aperture still very sharp (Fade Out brings just a little bit more focus particularly on the screen) But even open it extends fully to me!
to 2: The AF is barely audible, is fast on the road, and very accurate. No problems even in twilight and a bit dim light.
to 3: The Bildstabbi does its job very well. Am absolutely satisfied
4: Of course not an expensive L lens, but for me also sufficient. If you shoot more landscapes and objects, so less moving subjects that comes with this light intensity in connection with the VC well.
to 5: focal length range is huge and sufficient for all possible situations. Just a world record holder ^^
In summary, this lens exactly what I wanted! Am just not a professional photographer, so I have an EOS 1000D, which delivers a really good combination in connection with this lens.
The only drawback:
The tube creeps down while holding the camera out fairly quickly. How reversed again purely ^^ But a Lock switch is available, so no real problem. But one does not have to turn off like an ox (Such was my feeling with the predecessor) is about 100mm. The zoom ring can now be relatively easy to turn!
