When one thinks of fine RnB music from Great Britain a buzzing immediately the great Craig David through his mind, but comes with Taio Cruz now enters a new face on stage. The 25 year old from London, England, carrying the Nigerian and Brazilian roots in itself shows his versatility as a singer, producer, songwriter and head of his own label Rokstarr Music London. On his debut album "Departure", which is published under the two subsidiary label of Universal, Iceland and Republic, provides us Taio on 12 pieces of his skills. The album starts strongly condemned the wonderful song "I'll Never Love Again" in which Taio a first sign with his tender voice sets and is thereby supported by a fantastic piano and violin melody. The emotional "I just want to know" what is again accompanied with violins, a powerful beat and has a not let go from the first second is followed. In exactly this manner it is then also first on until then with "Fly Away" finds its place a completely different style. The whole song sounds poppy, mixed with some rock elements and electric sound. Likewise, the two sound tracks "Driving Me Crazy" and "Come on girl" the va contain much electrical and disco elements, a really stark contrast to what you get at the beginning of the album. Now comes a really very nice and super slow song called "Never gonna get us" has an ingenious Intrumental and "She's Like a Star" there is a simple but quite suitable for clubs and suitable for abdancen track. The end of the album could not have been better with "Can not Say No" can be selected. Once again, a kind of slow jam with the man feels all right pulled at the first hearing in his spell and which also Taio's voice again beautifully comes into its own. Taio Cruz is with his debut album "Departure" good but definitely still expandable album that the whole electric and disco influences weakens in the middle part a little, because in my opinion this does not quite fit with the rest of the album. Otherwise Taio makes here a prima job and is well on the way England RnB Prince Craig David to reach in the near future the water.
